The Indian Academy proudly hosted its Annual Cultural Function for classes VIII to XII on Saturday, 30th November 2024, at the school premises. This year’s event, themed ‘The Idea of Socrates’, was graced by distinguished guests: Mr. Umesh Sharma Kau, MLA Raipur (Esteemed Guest), Ms. Himani Shivpuri, renowned Film & Theatre Artist (Celebrated Guest), and Dr. Ankur Nautiyal, an alumnus of The Indian Academy (Guest of Honour).

The event left the audience spellbound as students skillfully presented an intellectually stimulating and graceful performance, capturing the essence of Socratic thought.

The highlight of the evening included the Annual Report presented by the Principal, Ms. Neelam Sharma, providing insights into the school’s achievements and activities. Several accolades were presented, recognizing the excellence of meritorious students for the academic session 2023-24, as well as the long-standing contributions of teaching and non-teaching staff. Special awards were given to Ms. Meenu Rana, who received the Appreciation Award, and Ms. Anuradha Aswal, who was honoured with the Teacher of the Year award.

The event concluded with an inspiring speech from the guests, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by the Director, Mr. Munendra Khanduri.
